(I think I'm gonna have trouble finding a pic!)
Name:
Raintail
Age:
Average warrior. About 20 moons...? Perhaps a bit more.
Gender:
she-cat
Clan:
ScarClan
Rank:
Warrior
Appearance:
Raintail is a silvery-gray tabby she-cat. She has the classic "M" on her forehead that most tabbies have. Her pelt is patterned with almost black stripes and dots. Her underbelly is slightly lighter than the rest of her pelt, and her paws are black. There are dots around her eyes and along her tail. She also has two black stripes on either side of her nose, going up to her eyes.
Her shoulders and haunches hold a lot of her muscles, but she also has long claws that she can hardly conceil, but jut out most of the time. She is not the largest cat in the Clan, but has a large build for a she-cat - and is not the smallest in the least. Her tail is rather long, and her paws slightly larger than normal. Raintail is an excellent fighter, and a she-cat you do not want to meet in battle.
Raintail's eyes are beautiful and extraordinary. They are an interesting silvery-blue, and they would remind anyone of rain drops, just like the spots on her pelt. They have darker flecks of blue in them, and are rimmed with a dark color. Though her pelt is the true source of her name, her eyes do add some effect to it.
Finally, we come to her scar. Raintail's was marked just under/next to her shoulder. It is close to an arrow, or a three-pointed star. In the center there are four dots, and two lines on either side of the arrow. She also has an assortment of other, smaller scars that are less permanent from previous battles, and a nich in one ear from her apprenticeship.
Personality:
This is one she-cat you do not want to mess with. Raintail hides her emotions easily, but she also gets angry quick. She can lash out at some cat and then return to her statue of lackness of emotion in a heart-beat. She can be very scary, switching on and off like that. Most of the Apprentices and Kits that she grew up with were scared of even talking to her. It was like she had the Clan wrapped around her paw. Some think she's settled down a bit since she became a warrior, though. Might be true, might not.
Raintail doesn't show emotion, but she has emotions. They are just too strong to show through often enough for cats to see that she is not emotionless. She has almost no small emotions, which is why it is so easy to act emotionless for her. But she has to try really hard to hide other, stronger emotions, such as passion, hate, fury, etc.
Though Raintail isn't as brilliant a hunter as Jaguarstripe, and isn't as strong in battle as Tigerfrost, any cat would agree that she is most certainly a clever cat who can size up her opponent and prey and pick the best way to take them down easily. She hates to fight against cats whom she considers "not a challenge" because they simply attack. Raintail thinks it is an insult when she fights an opponent who is not as skilled in the mind as she, who doesn't think of every battle like a game of chess.
Past:
On a sunny day in leaf-fall, two beautiful and skilled kits were born to Leopardfang and Kestreltalon, two very skilled warriors with prideful dark pelts. One kit was a silvery she-cat whom they named Rainkit for the spots on her pelt that patterned like rain drops. The second kit was a black tom with brown on his belly, who was named Pinekit.
Pinekit was a friendly kit who liked to take charge of things, while Rainkit was known for being his muscles and inforcer since she would sit in his shadow with rigid muscles and narrowed eyes. Pinekit was a little more relaxed about emotions than Rainkit, but they made a good team and balanced eachother out rather well. Pinekit couldn't wait to be an apprentice, while no cat could tell what Rainkit wanted since she was so strict about not showing emotions.
When they finally were made apprentices, Rainpaw was given to a strong, wide-pawed dark gray tom called Shadefur, who was stern and strict, while Pinepaw was mentored by a brown she-cat called Wolfbite who was even more strict than Shadefur and was known for beating the rules into all young cats. Some cats still think that Wolfbite would have made a better mentor for young Rainpaw, since their alike attitudes would have gone well together, though some say that Rainpaw needed a kinder mentor and Pinepaw needed a tough mentor so they would have a more equal amount of qualities than when they were kits.
Rainpaw made a good apprentice, always following her mentor's orders and taking punishment without back talk. She knew that as soon as they did another battle training session, Shadefur would be proud to see how her fury fueled her clever battle tactics. Pinepaw also made a good apprentice, though he often tried to be the boss of everything and was punished more often than Rainpaw. Pinepaw would argue and talk back just because he didn't like being ordered around by anyone; eventhough he obeyed the leader and deputy's orders without question.
Once their mentors saw them as ready to become warriors, they were given their marks by the Overseer. Pinepaw was able to get a nod of aproval from Wolfbite when he made it through without flinching or crying out, eventhough he almost did. Rainpaw passed showing the exact capabilities that Shadefur was expecting.
Pinepaw recieved the name Pinebelly, and Rainpaw became Raintail. Raintail seemed to be proud and relieved to finally become a warrior, while Pinebelly was almost obviously ecstatic when they were talking about it later. Neither of them think that any event in their lives was ever as exciting as the Trial.
A few seasons after they were made warriors, their mother, Leopardfang, was killed in battle. They were not too sorry, since she was a cruel and un-loving mother, and they had no reason to feel attached to her. Raintail was personally more sorry when Shadefur died, and Pinebelly felt the same at Wolfbite's death. But both were sad when their father, Kestreltalon, died from Greencough. He was close to them; a very good and kind father.
Relationships:
Pinebelly (brother; up for adoption!)
