The Overseer

You probably are all staring at the Apprentice Trials thinking wtf is an Overseer, right? Well this is a position for a senior warrior usually in every Clan, their job is unique to all warriors sites that I have seen yet. Not only are they in charge of holding the trials and watching the happenings of each they have a job that is, on most sites given to the leader. They are in charge of giving an apprentice their warrior name after they judge whether or not they passed the trial. Odd huh? Well that's why I love the idea. ^^ Besides that the Overseer is changed often, unlike leader, deputy, and med. cat positions that are held for life or until the leader dies the Overseer is changed every four apprentices to pass the test. Usually the Overseer is a very respected senior warrior, even before they are given this position, after and during it they are usually given as much respect as a deputy. Along with that an Overseer can be given the position again, usually after a great act of courage or showing their worth yet again, the most times a cat has ever held Overseer is four times. Which is quite surprising due to the fact that it is currently held by a ScarClan warrior, a cat living in legends among every single one of the Clans. Yet never a leader or even the deputy Eaglestrike was one of the most respected cats ever, probably the reason recieving his mark was once the most coveted prize an apprentice could recieve. Sadly though no one with his scar is still alive, his great-great grandson the current leader of ScarClan is the only thing keeping his bloodline alive at this time.
