Name: Patchfur
Age: 15 Moons
Gender: Tom
Clan: TimberClan
Rank: Warrior
Appearance: Patchfur is a she-cat magnet, even at such a young age. His father, Ravenflight, had a pelt like raven feathers; soft, sleek, and all black. His mother, Winterfoot, on the other paw, was the polar opposite. Her pelt was as white as the frost on a winter morning. Well, Patchfur got a combination of the two. His father gave him a sleek black pelt that seems to glimmer in both sun and moonlight, while his mother gave him splotches of white covering his underbelly, paws, and the space between his eyes, making their light green color stand out. Although, sometimes Patchfur doesn’t honor keeping clean, and his pelt gets covered in dust and moss, making the white splotches look more like a light brown. His fur is short but thickens in the winter and thins in the summer, making him all weather friendly.
The next thing that was perfectly balanced between Patchfur’s parents would be his build. Ravenflight gave him the muscles of a LionClanner, there is no doubt about that, but then again Winterfoot was much smaller and balanced her son out, making him average sized. Long claws unsheathe from slightly bulky paws, hooked and black. Sometimes to strike fear in another, Patchfur lets them slide out and shine in the sunlight while glaring at his opponent. In fact, this tom can make himself look rather large by raising his hackles and letting his fur stand on end. Even flattening his ears seems to make him look bigger, though it probably is just because most cats fear Patchfur in the first place.
Personality: One word could easily describe Patchfur: Bully. Whether its kits, apprentices, or basically anyone smaller than him he can’t seem to let it go. Well, it’s mostly toms that he bugs, because he wants to impress the she-cats not terrorize them. The tom has a mastermind of insults and comebacks, always ready to blow the confidence of a young apprentice. One of his favorite victims lately seems to be Creekpaw, who although large isn’t quite as big as Patchfur yet. His favorite way to bully him is to flare his temper then pin him down, taunting him constantly about how he can’t get up. It tends to work very well, because once Creekpaw got in trouble for slashing the warrior’s side when he turned to walk away. Ahh life is good.
After a long day of bullying, Patchfur never seems to get in trouble. Intelligence combined with a popular status in the clan cause him so smooth talk his way out of things. One of the cats he knows crushing him is a cat by the name of Snowpaw, whom he pretends to like because he knows Creekpaw adores her. Seeing the tom wiggle and squirm seeing them together is incredibly satisfying. He doesn’t even care that this could end up breaking Snowpaw’s heart.
In battle, Patchfur isn’t much different than with his own clanmates. He taunts and has absolutely no mercy, often injuring a cat close to death, waiting for them to beg to be let go. The tom thinks he is the best fighter in the clan, and often challenges others he knows he can beat to make him look better. He brags and brags when they get home to the point were cats have gotten used to it enough to just congratulate him and leave. The only cat Patchfur has ever listened to was the clan leader, and even with him he has a lack of respect.
Past: Patchfur finds everything he can to brag about, his pureblood being one of them. His parents had him then ignored him, basically letting him do whatever it was he wanted to. This is kind of how he got into the whole bullying thing. It all started with a kit by the name of Frostkit. He was a moon younger than Patchkit, and he spent his time in the nursery terrorizing the poor tom to the point of full blown horror every time Frostkit saw him. Sadly he only had a moon break when his bully became an apprentice.
Now Patchpaw, the tom gained a gang of followers. He easily had control of two other toms, though they were a moon older. Their names were Snakepaw and Owlpaw, and they both had small builds, which meant easy to get on his side. By the time Frostpaw joined them in the den he had their complete support when torturing his old nursery mate. Their games went from ‘play’ fighting to making fun of him, and even to spreading false rumors about him. It never seemed to get old for them. Suddenly, though, Frostpaw had a growth spirit, and Patchpaw was forced to leave him alone. He was victimless until Creekkit came out of the nursery for the first time.
For the next few moons Patchpaw, Owlpaw, and Snakepaw switched to torturing poor Creekkit. They easily figured out his weaknesses, and told his mother multiple times that he had left camp, then destroyed the Medicine Cat’s Den. Their mentors were oblivious to their apprentice’s bad behaviors, which only encouraged the three. Then, Patchpaw noticed Creekkit having a found eye for Snowpaw, a pretty she-cat with a fluffy white pelt and blue eyes. She was barely six moons at the time, and so he began planning. To make things even better for him, Snowpaw actually started to crush on Patchpaw!
In the middle of scheming, it was time for Patchpaw’s apprentice trial. For once he didn’t bother anyone that day, and looked more nervous than he had when he noticed that Frostpaw was getting bigger. Cats saw him sharpening his claws on the bark of every tree near camp, and he caught nearly five pieces of prey before they even left for the trial. The tom could not stop kneading the ground before they started. He had heard of horrible stories of cats not passing and having to redo training. Patchpaw took a deep breath and held it, waiting for the call to start the trial.
It turned out, this tom had trained well after all(much to Frostpaw’s dismay, who would’ve been happy to see him fail). Now Patchfur, he went back to being his thingyy, overconfident self. Sadly, though, both Owlpaw and Snakepaw failed their trials because they didn’t try at all through training. That doesn’t stop them from helping Patchfur torture Creekpaw, though, but now the apprentice has a comeback!
