TigerName:Tigerfrost Age:32 Moons Gender:Tom Clan:ScarClan Rank:Overseer/Senior Warrior Appearance:Tigerfrost is a beast, largely built, even bigger than his brother Pantherclaw. His muscles are always visible rippling no matter the time of day, yet at the same time he could be considered quite a lanky tom. Tigerfrost is technically one of the largest and best built toms of ScarClan, but he remains a healthy looking size and isn't overly bulgy. Though hunting runs deep through Jaguarstripe's blood, Tigerfrost has always been the better fighter. Though as kits she was often the leader it was more her ambition that got her to such a place, Tigerfrost had his moods of wanting the position and quickly went to taking it when he did. He also recieved the large paw genes from his parents, but his are even more damaging than Pantherclaw, perfect for his bred specialty. Tigerfrost is, like all of his siblings, gorgeous in his own way. All of his sibling seem to have a coat made of greatly varying color, from Jaguarstripe's orange with black splotches, Lynxtail's light ginger, Panthclaw's deep black, and his own stunning silver. Though the modest Tigerfrost would never say as much, he believes that he has the most usefully unique and handsome pelt of the litter. Where Lynxtail's good looks aren't proper in ScarClan, Tigerfrost can easily blend with rocks and stones. His pelt is made up of a base light silver, that makes him look as though he were drawn into life. A darker gray, that gets black around his tail stripes, form dotted lines down the side of his pelt and clear across to the other side until they meet back up at the dark line that spreads across most of his back. Around his face he gray gets darker like on his tail to form an interesting design down his forehead. While his build gives Tigerfrost the first part of his name, his eyes are the true reason for the 'frost' part of it. Even though his light silver fur could be mistaken for the true reason, anyone would completely forget that thought when looking at Tigerfrost's eyes. They are the lightest green you will ever see, so close to silver that it's amazing they hold any color beyond that at all. Combined with Tigerfrost's uncanny knack for remaining emotionless in his actions, this gaze of ice completes it. Without even meaning to, Tigerfrost can appear quite fearsome even when he attempts to be nice. Then of course you reach the scars of one of the most respected fighters of any and all of the Clans. Despite his constant test in battle Tigerfrost has an odd talent for remaining mostly unscathed. Where many of his friends are battle weary looking and covered with little marks and scars from the battles of the past Tigerfrost's pelt remains mostly clean. Tigerfrost can't say that he especially likes the fact that most of his scars soon after the battle heal up, but it does make him look untouchable to the average warrior. Only a long clawmark down his left flank truly remains. Of course there is his scar, the same one as Jaguarstripe and Pantherclaw. His had to be cut deeper than their's though, in order to make sure the unnaturally fast healing apprentice didn't lose that one as well. Personality:Tigerfrost's ScarClanner personality goes deeper than just simple trained emotionlessness, oh no Tigerfrost was born that way and didn't need to be taught like his siblings did. No one in the Clan is more capable of never showing emotion as Tigerfrost, not even Scorchstar could really best him. He had been born with what could be considered a cat's version of Asperger's Syndrome. He of course isn't like a human where his movements or paw-eye coordination is ruined by it though. No only his social interactions and ticks could be described by the syndrome. Due to this even Tigerfrost's tone doesn't seem capable of giving away any normal emotion, let alone his face. He's also unable to understand some of the usual 'slang' that other cats would use, taking everything incredibly literal and he has never been able to understand a joke or sarcasm. Not that he has a choice in the matter, which bothers him to no end. Nothing could be worse than not being able to tell a Clanmate properly just how urgent something is. In battle, Tigerfrost obviously shows the topic that he obsesses about, as called for in the syndrome. He isn't known as the best fighter in any Clan for nothing! Despite his lack of 'common sense' when it comes to danger levels and just natural comprehension of speech, Tigerfrost is no fool in battle. He isn't kind either and tries his hardest to take out any frustrations that he can't take out in any other way on his enemies. This often makes him the most violent as well, he was definetly the cat to avoid on the battlefield. As a mentor, Tigerfrost can be a rather odd cat. From the nursery and pretty much anywhere in the Clans, Tigerfrost is a legend; one of those too great to be real type cats. Due to this Tigerfrost can't be seen as odd in anyway and so a new apprentice would soon find that the legend that they had so often pretended to be in kit fights wasn't normal. As an example, when most mentors would raise their voice in fury, Tigerfrost is only capable of managing a level tone with no change. This can often lead to confusion between apprentice and mentor. They'd end up learning Tigerfrost's own way of communicating his displeasure though. Around other Clans, Tigerfrost is the same as he is around his own Clan. How could someone that can't even yell or appear angry to his own apprentice do so with a cat from another Clan without seeming peculiar. No even though Tigerfrost is one of the most respected warriors he never speaks during Gatherings. Tigerfrost is also a victim to repetitive behavior when it comes to certain things. This helped quite a bit in Battle training, but on few occasions, like the one that gave him the long scar down his left flank, was cause on such an occasion when he felt the need to repeat the same attack over and over. Ever since his first day of training Tigerfrost can't enter or exit the Camp without first touching his nose to the entrance of the camp. Past:To start off Tigerfrost’s history, I’ll explain the most important part: parents. Before this tiny feline was born there were two overly loyal ScarClan cats. One, by the name of Hawkpelt, was a she-cat, and the second’s name was Rockheart, a tom. Now, I should get one thing straight; these cats were not in love by any means. In fact, their relationship was strictly business. ScarClan was going through a rich time. The prey was plentiful, even in Leafbare, and it was said that by summer the nursery would be bigger, and there would be even more prey. So what did Eaglestar do? She picked six cats, three she-cats, and three toms, Hawkpelt and Rockheart among them, to have kits. She chose them specially. One muscular tom would be matched with a lithe and agile she-cat, creating ‘perfect’ kits. It would strengthen the clan greatly in such a good time. So they expanded the nursery, and the three she-cats got pregnant. Eventually, Greenleaf came, and it was Hawkpelt’s time to give birth. She was the first of the three, and Eaglestar made her excitement obvious, though it was shameful for a ScarClan cat. Four healthy kits were born, to the thrill of the clan. Hawkpelt named them as follows: Jaguarkit, Lynxkit, Pantherkit, and Tigerkit. Tigerkit was the largest, with a gray speckled pelt and obvious muscular body type. He was followed by Pantherkit, who was blessed with a rich black coat. Then Lynxkit, whose pelt was a light ginger, and had bright green eyes. Last, there was Jaguarkit. She was the runt of the litter, and the only she-cat to make matters worse. She was the failed kit, in her parents’ eyes. They could only thank StarClan that they were blessed with three, strong, perfect kits. Maybe the runt would be a good medicine cat or something. Boy were they wrong. If anything Tigerkit would end up having a slight 'problem.' By early kithood, Jaguarkit quickly earned the position of leader. Not only of her litter, but all of the kits in the nursery. (And there were a lot, considering Eaglestar’s plan to strengthen the clan) If anyone challenged her, she would happily take that challenge, but was usually able to put the kit back in their place. Being so small, Jaguarkit was beaten once or twice by Tigerkit, but earned her position back soon enough, since early in Tigerkit's development he didn't have a the drive for it. Hawkpelt was thrilled to have such a strong daughter, and was very proud of her. Well, needless to say, Eaglestar’s plan went very well. Nine kits were born by Newleaf, and all of them were made apprentices without a single one getting sick or dying. Finally came the day Tigerkit could finally prove to himself that his small issue with emotions, and not in the way that most new apprentices did. Following behind Jaguarkit, who had been the only cat who had ever noticed his small problem. She had taken it upon herself to make sure no one looked down on him for it or anything. He ended up getting Oakfoot as a mentor, Jaguarkit got Rainwing, Lynxkit got Breezewhisker, and Pantherclaw got Sharpfang. All four of the kits received decently experienced mentors. Little did they know, training would be a lot harder than they anticipated. Tigerpaw was already awake, he hadn't been able to sleep a wink the night before. He had watched with his naturally emotionless light, green eyes as his siblings sleeped. All curled up in tight balls near each other, as they had done through kithood. No matter the differences between the four cats when it came to sleeping arrangements they were always close. His gaze jerked up, not giving a hint of surprise, though he felt it, as the dark brown figure of Oakfoot became evident in the mouth of the den. The youngest of the four mentors for the litter, Oakfoot looked rather nervous now that he thought no one was watching. As he picked his way around the sleeping bundles, Oakfoot didn't notice Tigerpaw until it was too late. He let out a surprised hiss at the sight of the apprentice standing over him. Motioning for Tigerpaw to follow, Oakfoot headed out of the den, only to have to come back in to angrily whisper to his apprentice. "Are you a fool, Tigerpaw?! Follow me!" Tigerpaw took the more clear instructions, stepping carefully over his siblings and out into the cool, almost daybreak air. Oakfoot swung around to face him, having to look up as Tigerpaw was already bigger than him. His mentor attempted to gain eye contact with Tigerpaw, but true to his syndrome, Tigerpaw wouldn't meet the darker green gaze. Oakfoot lashed forward aiming for Tigerpaw's chest, but he hit nothing. "Tigerpaw! You do realize that it isn't respectful to avoid looking into my eyes right?" "Yes, I do." Tigerpaw replied, still no meeting Oakfoot's eyes. "Well then why don't you do so?" "I can't." Tigerpaw managed to say after a moment of making sure it was the complete truth. With a huff Oakfoot took off once more in the direction of the entrance, only to look back to see Tigerpaw sitting exactly where he had left him. Mumbling something about getting the mousebrain of the litter, Oakfoot called for Tigerpaw to follow him. Tigerpaw followed silently, glancing briefly to the rest of his siblings that were sitting next to their mentors. Lynxpaw yawned, and was whacked by Breezewhisker. He mumbled something and was whacked again. Finally his brother silenced, staring down at his paws. Rainwing stood, nodding to the other warriors. “We won’t be going to the Elemental Plateau today.” He said, “That is a privilege that will have to be earned if you four would like to become warriors. Instead, we thought we’d explore the territory today.” Tigerpaw stared just above Rainwing's eyes intently, mind not thinking about whether or not the task would be easy. Lynxpaw spoke up, “But we can’t see anything. Its still dark!” Tigerpaw turned momentarily as Jaguarpaw held back a purr of amusement at Lynxpaw's punishment. Tigerpaw didn't see the humor in it, though humor was never something he had understood. Lynxpaw never learned to hold his tongue in much the same way. Rainwing spoke again, “If your name ends in ‘paw’, go stand over there, by the camp entrance. Touch your nose to it.” Confused, Jaguarpaw, Lynxpaw, Tigerpaw, and Pantherpaw did as they were told. There was a scrambling of paws, and when the apprentices turned around, their mentor’s were gone. “I guess this is their way of ‘exploring the territory’” Stated Tigerpaw in his usual, level tone; but it actually sounded like more of a grumble than anything. So yes, Tigerpaw found himself with a mentor that could only attempt to show the big cat how to react to certain things. Besides that it seemed as though Tigerpaw was already a self-made warrior, who didn't need anything more than lessons on simple things that he didn't get socially, he never truly learned though. At the age of nine moons, he was thrown of the Elemental Plateau, along with Jaguarpaw. With his usually tough to injure buil he didn't get injured, more than a stiff back and legs. Jaguarpaw sprained her paw though, and got out of training for a week, not that he really cared. Lynxpaw and Pantherpaw did not get thrown off. Finally came the day of his warrior ceremony. He was 14 moons, and was more ready than ever. With his mother and mentor watching, Tigerpaw prepared himself for her Right of Passage. As a kit Tigerpaw hadn't really grasped the concept of the emotion, fear, this day would be the closest he ever came to experiencing it. The Overseer make a pretty detailed mark on his shoulder without flinching Tigerpaw recieved it, a deeper than usual marking for the unusually easy to heal apprentice. It was a cross with four dots in each section, representing the four clans, and a dot above, representing StarClan. Tigerpaw was awarded his warrior name, Tigerfrost. His siblings were named as follows: Lynxtail, Pantherclaw, and Jaguarstripe. Less than five moons into his warriorhood, Tigerfrost and Jaguarstripe were given the respect of senior warriors. They received their first apprentices at the same time; Gorsepaw and Waterpaw, with Pantherclaw only a few moons behind. Over the moons Lynxtail grew more distant from the others, and didn’t receive his first apprentice until 7 moons later. At the age of 25 moons, Jaguarstripe was named the Overseer for ScarClan. She served in this position twice before he took over, and he now holds the position. At the age of 30 moons Jaguarstripe was named deputy, and has held her spot ever since. Tigerfrost has yet to mark an apprentice or think up a Scar that would decently fit himself. After all Tigerfrost can barely explain himself let alone pick something that could fit him.
