Picture
Name: Pureheart
Age: 22 Moons
Gender: She-cat
Clan: TimberClan
Rank: Warrior
Appearance: Pureheart really is a beauty, with an almost perfect appearance that other she-cats envy. She is a typical orange tabby, though the color seems to radiate a glowing look when the sun or moonlight hits it nicely. The white on her chest, paws, and tail tip stand out like a kit at a gathering, only just drawing more attention to her. Usually Pureheart takes time to keep her pelt clean and sleek, though occasionally she’ll come out of the Warrior’s Den covered in moss only because she was too lazy to wash. The only flaw this warrior could find of her pelt is that it is so thin. In Leafbare she freezes, though in the summer she stays as cool as though she were swimming.
Pureheart’s face is most likely what gives her name. Her eyes are gray-blue, like water, which of course is pure and clear at all times in TimberClan. They can be soft and gentle, yet can change to the polar opposite in a heartbeat. I would steer clear of the icy cold glare of Pureheart, because those eyes may cause you to whimper like a kit. Moving on, the only obvious flaw you could find on this she-cat’s face is a scar on her left cheek. It doesn’t take from her beauty, though, and seems to set her apart from kittypets. A pink nose lies squarely in the middle of her face, and she has long white whiskers.
As said above, Pureheart looks rather like a kittypet other than the few scars throughout her pelt. If she was plumper she would surely be picked up by a twoleg and taken home, but luckily she is mostly skin and bones. Paws are small and dainty, having pink pads beneath them, while black claws can be unsheathed usefully. Legs are long and boney, as is the rest of her body. Pureheart’s sides are bumped with the edge of her ribcage, though any cat in the clan would say that she eats enough. It keeps twolegs away, so she really doesn’t mind.
Personality: Pureheart’s appearance may be close to perfect, but her personality is not. She brags like crazy without realizing it, and although it usually is in a relatively nice way cats get annoyed with it and end up talking behind her back. Another factor about her is that she is a hypocrite at times as well. She is bossy, corrects senior warriors, and acts like she knows better than the clan leader. Deep down this she-cat is loyal, but her outer core is pure spoiled brat.
On a positive side, though, if you take the time to get to know her Pureheart can be rather kind. She has a soft spot for kits and has always wanted some of her own. Cats say that she works so well with them because she still is one, but others say she has the mother’s touch. A deep love for her clan causes her to fight hard and true, and she is a rather good fisher. A funny though not particularly bad trait of Pureheart is that she is a flirter. If she sees a cute tom she compliments them or invites them to go hunting with her. It is sad in a way, though, because the only reason she does that is her want for a mate and kits that may never happen.
When it comes to the Warrior Code, Pureheart is willing to bend the rules a bit. She has crossed into another clan’s territory before, and even stolen prey once or twice(only because it ran across the boarder, though) So far the warrior hasn’t been caught, and she prefers to keep it that way. Pureheart doesn’t believe in StarClan, but pretends to around her clan to make her look better. She believes that when a cat dies, they are reincarnated into the next kit of their clan. Its sort of odd, but she is bound to it. I wouldn’t question her.
Past: 26 Moons ago, on a sunny Greenleaf morning, Featherflight gave birth to two lovely she-kits. One she named Purekit, as her pelt was near perfect even at birth (in her eyes), and the other was named Warmkit, after the morning the two came into this world. Then Featherflight died. She would’ve been the perfect mother, but instead the kits were given to a cat by the name of Frozenriver. This queen taught them that they were perfect and should act so, and that they were going to be the stars of the Apprentice’s Den. Her other kit, Sleetkit, was horribly neglected because of Purekit and Warmkit.
Finally the three were made apprentices. Purepaw and Warmpaw were given excellent mentors: brothers by the name of Hareleap and Fallingcloud. Sleetpaw was not as lucky and was given a young warrior who only cared about himself, not her. And so it began, their preparation for the Voyage of The Winding Forest. Although Purepaw and Warmpaw were only average of their generation, they acted as though they were the best of the best, and often ridiculed poor Sleetpaw for not being as perfect as them. In their first battle the two ‘perfect’ sisters double teamed several PeakClan warriors and defeated them, while Sleetpaw was pinned and saved by a disappointed mentor several times.
A few more moons into training, Warmpaw was killed by a badger while walking alone in the forest. Purepaw was devastated to lose her only friend and sister, and ended up taking out her anger on Sleetpaw until the day of their apprentice trial.
Purepaw was against an Overseer by the name of Fleetfoot. She felt perfect as always, and wasn’t nervous by any means. After passing with flying colors, she whispered to Sleetpaw that she was going to fail and watched, happy, as her adopted sister was pinned by the Overseer; doomed to redo training. Now Pureheart, she reminds Sleetpaw every day that she failed training when she passed, and the poor apprentice has been brainwashed into thinking that her foster sister is better than her. It has gotten to the point where she’s asked Pureheart for pointers, thinking her sister was trying to help. This just adds to the problem.
Now Sleetpaw is close to her second Apprentice trial, but after being brainwashed for so long she believes she’s just a pile of Foxdung, not even worth the wasted time.
