Willowstripe is a quite pretty she-cat. She is an almost classic tabby, her base color being light, silvery-gray, topped with black and dark gray stripes. Mixed into her normal gray pelt are some ginger bits, here and there. Her fur is smooth and well-kept, and she takes pride in having soft, silky fur. The fur on her tail is a bit longer than the rest of her body, and there are stripes ringing around her tail. She has a light browny ginger on her belly like dust, and black stripes on her legs. She has the classic tabby "M" on her forehead, and stipes going down her cheekbones and on the back of her head.
Willowstripe has wide, rock hard paws, and her legs are very muscular, especially at the haunches. Her tail is long and good for balance, and she is a quite big she-cat and is also muscular in her shoulders and chest. Her shoulders are narrow, but strong. Her whole set-up makes her a good JaggedClanner. She did quite well on her Trial. Her pelt colors also help her blend in well with the rocks and stones in the territory as well.
On to her eyes. They are a strange, blue-green that seems like it could reflect water, the ocean, or the leaves on a willow tree. It is unusual that a cat has a name that represents both her eyes and her pelt, and Willowstripe is one of them. They are rimmed with a dark brown like willow bark, and the insides are speckled with green, blue and yellow. Willowstripe is proud of her looks, and she wouldn't change a thing.
Personality:
Willowstripe is very mellow, but is very prideful. She is proud of her Clan, her position, and her looks. She is proud of her son, her mate, and her fighting and hunting abilities. She can be boastful, but she tries hard not to get on other cat's nerves, but isn't usually seen handing out compliments to just anyone. Her apprentices learn quickly that they have to earn her pride, and she doesn't just give it out.
Willowstripe is also very feirce. She can lash out quickly, dispite her mellow attitude. She is not easy on her kits or apprentices, and they all have to earn their love or pride from her. She is feirce in battle, and kind to her Clanmates. She tries her best at everything, and she always wants to be considered the best. She trains with other warriors when she doesn't have an apprentice to train with. Her attitude is not to be hampered with or tested. If you get her angry, she will hold a grudge, and if you hurt the ones she loves, she will hunt you down.
Not everyone realizes how little their is to this she-cat. She sticks firmly to a schedule, and doesn't like unexpected surprises. Willowstripe knew that if she failed her Trial, she would have to do training over again, and she was not going to be humiliated that way, so she simply trained harder. She walked the long way every where, and was certain to tread on stones so her pads would get harder. So, it paid off, and she passed with flying colors.
Past:
This particular litter of kits was born on a typical, sunny day in late Greenleaf, when it was boiling outside. But inside the Nursery it was cool enough. Stonefire was pacing cautiously outside the Nursery, waiting for news of Featherstream and their kits. When he was finally let in, he was overjoyed by the perfectness of his litter. There were four of them; a tabby she-cat, a brown and gray she-cat, a black tom, and a dark gray tom. They were given the names Willowkit, Passionkit, Climbingkit, and Rock-kit.
Willowkit and Climbingkit were the followers, they obeyed their mother and tried to out-do any other kit, excepting their siblings. Passionkit was the bully, and Rock-kit was the leader. The four made an unbeatable team, and soon had the Nursery under their paws. Climbingkit was always very considerate of others and treated everyone with respect. Willowkit was prideful and vain, and got angry when other kits got her muddy. Passionkit was a bully, simple as that. She was the muscles behind the brain, which happened to be Rock-kit.
This remained the Hierarchy when they became apprentices. Rockpaw was mentored by Slashtalon, Passionpaw by Lionfang, Climbingpaw by Hangingledge, and Willowpaw by Mountainstep. They were all mentored well, and their lessons had to be hammered into Willowpaw's head because she was so... determined. Determined not to get her pelt messy, that is! Willowpaw was very hotheaded. Climbingpaw was always considered the best apprentice because he followed orders so well, while Passionpaw was punished time and again for beating up the other apprentices without permission, and Rockpaw had to be placed back in line after back-talking alot.
When they finally had their trial, Slashtalon, Lionfang, and Mountainstep were more overjoyed to see their apprentices go, but Hangingledge had grown quite fond of her apprentice, and congratulated him heartily when he passed. Rockpaw was named Rockclaw, Passionpaw became Passionwar, Climbingpaw was to be known as Climbingspirit, and Willowpaw was called Willowstripe. Her name was almost changed to Vainfur, but the Clan was too nice to so that to her. Her name will probably be changed once she becomes an elder.
Now that they were warriors, Willowstripe "put aside her mirror" and worked on being a good warrior. She mentored two apprentices before becoming Overseer. Rockclaw mentored an apprentice, then became Overseer, first Overseer of the litter, and then mentored two more apprentices. Passionwar had an apprentice first, then mentored another more recently. Climbingspirit has mentored three apprentices.
Willowstripe soon fell in love with a strong gray tom called Rabbitfoot, and they had one son, Midnightsoul, before Rabbitfoot died. Midnightsoul has recently mated a pretty she-cat called Snowflower, who has just given birth to a litter of three kits, two toms, named Whitekit and Dark-kit (oh, very original!), and a she-cat, called Goldenkit. I bet you can guess what colors they are!
