Medicine Cat Apprentice
Appearance:
Summerpaw is a light ginger she-cat with white on her belly, paws, and tail tip. She has darker ginger tabby markings, including the tabby "M" on her forehead. The white begins areound her muzle and broadens along her throat, before hitting her chest; and expanding to cover her underbelly. The darker ginger stripes ring around her tail like a raccoon's, and her tail is topped off in white. She has rather large ears, which have puffs of white in front of the ear hole.
Summerpaw is a small-ish she-cat with dainty paws and a smooth, silky pelt. She already has a sweet scent about her from being around herbs all day. Her shoulders are narrow, and her paws fold in neatly under her chest; she is a well proportioned she-cat with a lower back and wide hips and knees. She is not very muscular, being a she-cat she does not do enough battle training and hunting to get her in shape, but she is not fat or lazy. She simply doesn't have well-developed muscles.
Her eyes are very pretty; a nice leaf-green like the oak leaves in the forest in Greenleaf. They are rimmed with a bit darker green color, and they have nice dark green and yellow flecks. They look like a forest of Oak, Ebony, and Mahagony, while if they were darker they might be Pine. They really reflect her spirit well.
Personality:
Summerpaw has a kind, warm personality, like mid-greenleaf. She treats everyone with kindness; from the most troublesome kit to the eldest and grumpiest elder. Cats have only to be around her to fall in love with her; and even the grumpy elders who snap and mischievious apprentices are fond of her. No one has the heart to correct her suggestions if they're wrong, except her mentor.
This kind she-cat is gentle and loving and soft, and she would never snap at any cat unless they did something very foolish; there are very few things to make her angry. One would be kits getting into the medicine stores; not because of the mess, but because they might have hurt themselves. She can also loose her temper if cats talk about something who would obviously hurt themselves or others.
Summerpaw is anxious to earn her full medicine cat name, but she knows she has a lot to learn before she is ready to be made a full medicine cat. She is in no hurry to grow up, but she thinks it would be nice if every cat started treating her with respect instead of acting like she was a delicate she-kit who couldn't take care of herself.
Past:
Once upon a time it was the middle of Greenleaf, and the medicine cat was hurrying across PeakClan camp to help a she-cat named Fernface give birth to her litter of kits. Waiting impatiently outside the Nursery was the father; a handsome credit to PeakClan called Coppertooth. There were three handsome kits; a light ginger tabby, a dark brown tabby, and a sleek gray tabby. They were given the names Summerkit, Eaglekit, and Sleek-kit.
Eaglekit was the true leader of the threesome. He was big-shouldered and well-muscled, with long talon-like claws that he couldn't sheath the whole way. Sleek-kit was his sidekick, so to speak, backing up his every decision with her support. She was muscular enough that the two of them together were feared. Summerkit was the odd one out, always making sure that whomever her more muscular and bossy siblings picked on were alright. She was like the little Medicine Cat of the Nursery, while Eaglekit was the leader and Sleek-kit was the deputy.
Summerkit knew from the moment that she stepped for the first time in the medicine den that she belonged there, tending to her Clanmates and caring for the cats who asked her for help. Sleek-kit and Eaglekit didn't understand her passion because the only future they could imagine was fighting and hunting for their Clanmates. But Summerkit knew what she wanted and asked the medicine cat to take her as an apprentice.
Summerpaw got her wish and is being mentored by ______, while her sister, Sleekpaw, is being mentored by ______, and Eaglepaw was given to ________.
